OUR Envirnmental ECOSYS Technology :

The same technology that makes Kyocera ECOSYS printers cheaper to run also reduces their impact on the environment. Waste is drastically reduced by the cartridge-free printing system. Instead of a cartridge comprising over 100 different materials, the ECOSYS toner cassette is made of a single substance and ID coded for easy recycling.

It can also be incinerated without producing harmful emissions. Rather than using fire-resistant materials in the external casing containing bromine, Kyocera promotes safety by using bromine free materials combining polycarbonate and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene resin (commonly known as ABS).

Packaging for Kyocera is all cardboard (recycled and recyclable) and all supporting documentation is printed on environmentally responsible paper.

The durable quality of the Amorphous Silicon drum means that it can use even course 100% recycled paper without adverse affects, and duplex units allow reduced paper usage.
CopierWorld NZ recycles all cardboard from machines and consumables to create nil effect on the environment. Plastics associated with toners are collected via a Kyocera's KyoCollect takeback programme which means a 100% zero-waste-to-landfill outcome for the disposal of your print consumables and re-manufacturing of wastes.

Kyocera have created a green partnership with Close the Loop®. By using Close the Loop® as Kyocera's recycling partner it means that your consumables for printers, copiers and your consumables will be collected and recycled easily.

Close the Loop® is an Australian public company that has developed world-first technology to recycle all imaging machine waste. They have a purpose-built and highly sophisticated equipment, processes such waste from companies across Australia New Zealand.

What can you recycle? Bottles, toner cartridges, fuser units, bulk toner or any consumable from any Kyocera copier, laser printer or other office machine will be recycled with a zero landfill outcome. Download the Kyocera Application form here.
